06/16/2006: FAKE RADIO MESSAGE IS NO MORE! Yes, you got it right... Some of you might like to have an explanation for this and it´s easy to give. Mr.Thomsen left the band. We believe it´s not necessary to discuss whatever led to our decision to go separate ways, but be sure we part as friends. We wish him all the best and would like to see him back on a stage one day, with a guitar in hands doing what he can do best... Thanks for the great time, bro! The band´s history starts in September of 2002, when some guys from Dessau/Germany begin to mix their styles in jam sessions. A line-up is finally set in spring and exactly one year after starting the project, Fake Radio Message hits the stage for the first time on September 6th 2003. In 2004 the band keeps going to collect live-experience attracting a younger skate-punk/hc/alternative-crowd. Ignoring current musical trends they are featured on the sampler "Local Heroes 9" released in spring and play at the semifinals of Berlin´s Emergenza contest. In 2005 Fake Radio Message drops its first Demo. Quickly they earn reputation of bringing intense performance onto every stage, as seen in their DIY-style-video covering 2005- live-action. They split up in April 2006.
